About the Artist

Vanth is the moniker of Sophia Orner-Thompson. She received a Bachelor of Arts in animation from Columbia College Chicago in 2017 and now enjoys a career in freelance art and design. In 2024, she received the Barb Seegert Memorial Grant for lesbian artists, which allows her to live for free in a creative space near Atlanta, GA. She finds herself unable to keep from feeding every stray cat in her area yet still wonders why more keep showing up at her doorstep.
